Ok I found a model of what I was looking for. However, it's skin isn't how I want it to be. So I'm interested in retexturing it. My question is... Is there any way to load a Vue d'Esprit object file into UV Mapper? And if not, does anyone know another way to retexture it, or how to convert it to a .obj file so I can use it with UV mapper? Thanx! -Me!

No to your first answer you cannot load a .vob to UV mapper, and I don't think you can save it as an object file and that is all the UV mapper takes, so let me ask you, was it an original .vob or something else you downloaded it as. Sharen

I downloaded it as a vob. It's a model of a duck. I haven't been able to find any other models like it either. =] I swear, ducks are the one thing that people don't like modeling. =] -Me!

hmmmm, I don't know if this will work, but there is a free piece of software out, that does conversions. I don't know if it will convert this, but it is worth a try. I beta tested it a little, but did not try this. It is Meshbox...maybe you can download it and give it a try, other then that I just don't know. Sorry. Sharen

The only thing you can export from Vue is terrains and I would be very surprised if any conversion software supported Vue objects. I'm afraid the duck is stuck as a .vob. Rich
