Can Victoria 2 be used in Poser 5? A while back, Kupa said everything will work, but I can't get Victoria to work. What format should it be put in? The Judy Model doesn't seem to have the morphing capabilities that Victoria 2 does. Or is this a disagreement between the two companies?

When I import the file (pz3), apparently it shows up on the screen as blue boxes spread out. Each box is information of the Poser model features. I thought they were the camera representations, but they're not. I click one and it pops up legs, and gives its morph targets. I click another one and it gives me another part of the body to morph. But there never is an actual figure. Did I skip a procedure?

I haven't had any trouble with Victoria in P5. I understand she won't work in the face room, only the P5 figures will work in there. Not sure what you're trying to do? I also have my entire Poser 4 Runtime in the P5 library. If you try to just load Victoria I suppose you might run into problems because P5 won't know where to look for everything.

Why are you importing a .pz3 scene? Why not pop her up from the library? I got Vicki to work just fine from there. (I've heard one or two people had problems opening up old .pz3 scenes in P5.)

Just saw your second post. I didn't have any luck trying to open up a Pz3 I'd created in Poser 4 in Poser 5 - I have a feeling the path names in the Pz3 don't work.

Well I made some morph target adjustments to the Victoria 2 Model that I like. And when I go to save it in Poser 4, it only allows it to be saved as a pz3 file. Then I just saved it to my desktop because it's easy access. I want to be able to open the file with all my adjustments made to this figure, since the New Judy doesn't sem to have the flexibility as Victoria 2 does. otherwise I would just start over in Poser 5 with a fresh new model. I've exported in other formats like 3ds, but it's not treated the same as a Poser file. If I place this file in the library, would that work? Would getting it saved as a cr2 help? If so, how would I go about doing that? Poser 4 didn't offer cr2.

I didn't have any luck bringing in models that I'd made adjustments on in P4 into P5, but I've only tried once. I tried saving them as character files first, but P5 wouldn't load them. I ended up just saving them as pose files and redoing the morphs in P5. Hopefully, someone's got a better solution for you.

iajones, are you "swawning" a morph target? Are you saving the figure to the library (rather than using 'save as')?

I did both, and I was reading some of the previous messages. Someone is having the same problem I am.

This problem seems an easy answer. Did you actually instal vicki2 in your P5, or share your P4 runtime library? If not, P5 will have no way to know where to find the stuff in your PZ3 file.

Ok, I'll give that a try...
