Hello, I am planning on doing an online comic, and I need to find a victorian style men's jacket and waistcoat (vest)that are conformable. Also, if anyone knows where I can find a cravat, I would be grateful. Also, I saw that Hokusai had a lab coat model, but his site seems to be down. If anyone can tell me where it is, that might work for the jacket. I would make them myself, but I am a lousy mesh modeler. Thanks in adnance for any help! Matt Baucco

I know someone - the guy at Sherlock Studios, I think, don't remember the URL - had a few Victorian characters. They came out around the time P4 was released, so I don't remember if they were P3 or P3 characters, and they didn't have conforming clothes - the coats were part of the meshes, I think. You might want to hunt for that. Or check PoserWorld; they've got some period stuff available and some planned for release on the next CD.

The link can be found at the Props Guild but unfortunately I have never been able to download them .. Think they are just for display

There's such a costume available in poserworld cd2 that is soon going to be released. If you care to peek at a preview conduct a search in this forum under "tailcoat" :o) renapd

I've been looking for this type of outfit for a long time. I keep hoping someone will make an Edwardian frock coat that hangs open in front. And, yes, the cravat, definitely! Please, some of you wonderfully talented modelers, hint, hint, hint!!! Melanie

Edwardian Frock. Cravate. Melanie, are you working on William Hartnel as the original Dr. Who?

CharlieBrown mentioned the guy at Sherlock Studios (H.L.Arledge/Sherlock) who, by coincidence, just happened to post a thread here tonight for the first time in many, many months. Unfortunately, his "Holmes" character has a long coat. He was also using the character in a commercial venture [as an avatar for Microsoft's "AGENT" software?] so it was unfortunately not available to us for free.
