Well, my copy of Poser 5 was finally delivered to Australia today (I'm rather pleased that we get it before the Poms). It has been installed and registered with no hassles. I've already completed a number of renders in both P4 and Firefly without a hitch and am playing around with dynamic cloth and the hair at the moment. No bugs or crashes so far and the program looks great! I think Curious labs have done a great job. What are you guys all complaining about?? ;)

So Kupa, it works in the southern hemisphere. If you can get to some of the shops here, I think it'll sell well. Need a sales rep??

Well this is just typical! I mean, what's the point of Tony Blair doing all this ass kissing and toadying up to George WWWWWWWW Bush if he can't even get us P5 before the bloody aussies! Would never have happened in Maggie's day... grumble grumble. Jack

Hey, maybe if I turn my computer upside down, the lockups will stop. Seriously, Alchera, congrats on your smooth operation so far.

This is my first post here actually, but congratulations Alchera. I am an Aussie too and am awaiting on my copy (which I preordered on 2lst August) It should be delivered to me tomorrow (Wednesday) but I paid my customs duty on Saturday, and this is only because as I do not live in the Sydney Metropolitan area, it would have been in my local town area today (Tuesday) - and out to me on Wednesday. At least it better be lol. At least the waiting has given a chance to see what it is all about on the forum, learn some tips etc. This forum is how I really learned Poser 4, thanks to all the wonderful people who help, so look forward to all the Poser 5 help here too. I feel sure this is all just too new, even for the experienced users, so eventually it will even out as people become more used to this program (P5) and it will not be long before everyone is happier and more comfortable with this new program, and all these teething hiccups will be a part of the "past" and relative newbies like me (since March 02) can begin learning from your experience. Cheers from DownUnder, Jan
