I am a newbie using Poser, so please help me with a question. Here's the deal.. Poser 4..
Using Daz Michael with ZetaStudios3D Leo applied to him. I will be adding a Daz Karate Uniform to cloth him...
Anyway, Import a BVH of motion.
The animation looks fine, 147 frames long.
Render the scene. Everything looks great...
Now the problem, the render only effects one frame. How do you get it to render the entire sequence of frames so that I can make a "rendered movie" avi file?? As it is now, the movie scene looks like no rendering was done....
Thanks for any help...
Mark

From menu Animation>Make Movie, check the parameters are OK and also make sure that the Quality setting in the Make Movie dialog box is "Current Render Settings" (not "Current Display Settings").

Animation > Make Movie, Be sure to change it to "Current Render Settings" or it will just make the movie in previw mode. Prewiew's good for pop throughs but not production ;-)

I vote this to be nominated the "#1 new user question about animating in Poser." LOL! I have seen and answered this question more times than I care to remember. PS> Happy to have another animator aboard! -Tim (1 of 12 Animators: founding member)

Hey! I animate what's this 1 of 12 thing. Did we take a poll that I missed or something? I have the story baord done and am building charactes for a 10-15 minuter "Poser Only" animated story.

If you haven't seen the "1 of 12" thing (aka "the 12 animators")... you're really out of the loop! ;-) Wolf359 started it and I asked to be co-founder as I have been animating since doing sprites on the Commodore-64, and using Poser almost exclusively for animation since the first day I bought Poser 3, way back when. But more importantly (at least to me), I was one of the first people to start drawing attention to the fact that animators were overlooked not only in the software design, but on the boards and contests as well. (And still are unfortunately.) Would like to see your animation when it is complete. -Tim

Which is why I made the Backdrop and Millennium Walk Designer. To help Poser's animation capability. Count me as a number 13. (my lucky number) http://www.nerd3d.com/Gallery/Animation.htm
