Well, I've been having some trouble with Reflection maps, HOWEVER, try this: use the P4 renderer, with Shader Trees turned OFF, and this may help you out. I've been able to get my Refl Maps working correctly in this setting, and should suffice until I figure out how to work in the Material Room better. Hope this helps. Ben MessianicArt.com

From the looks of it though, it appears that you have: 1. Either your transparency turned down on the eyebrows/lashes 2. The map is not applied correctly on the eyebrows/lashes If those are not the case, try the suggestion in my first post. I don't think I've had this problem with P5, so it may not have anything to do with the P5 Renderer.

Drag the transparency node to your lashtrans image map (2D), then set the transparency falloff to 0. That should help. I would post an image, but I am calculating a drape. =/ TalmidBen, I got P4 style reflections working in P5. See the link above. ;)w-cloer posted Sat, 21 September 2002 at 2:08 PM

Just a quick observation. Shouldn't the backgrown be black, not white? Boni

I had the same problem. I added a 2d map node from transparency edge and set the value to 1.00000. Squid
