Okay, I have had p5 a week now and have not fired it up. I decided to read the manual first. Now things are clear as mud to me. So, my first question, if I want to use my old stuff, ie, vickie, mike, etc., already installed in my old p4 directory, do I have to re-install it into p5 or can I link to it like is suggest in the manual. If so, does this handle the geometries as well or do they have to go in the p5 root folder?

Yes, link to it and yes it handles the geometries. Sharen

It works fine except it may trip on some textures. Here's a link to a clearer explanation of how to do it. Thanks for the salute.shadownet posted Thu, 19 September 2002 at 2:36 PM
Big thanks for the quick response. This is great. Well, there is one feature of P5 (so far) that I already love. :O)
