I love the lighting on the figure. Is it just because of the contrast with the 2d background or do you have some unique settings here? The whole thing looks very Terry Gilliam!

It looks like something from Monte Python!

That would be Terry Gilliam. He's the one who did all of those zany animations.

Thanks again for the comments, everyone. Hiram, no special settings. I personally think lighting is a weak point for me. I used about four lights: a spotlight on the top right front of the figure and a spotlight on the back, then a couple of infinite fill lights - one pointing to the top left front of the figure and the other below it pointing up at the figure. I often give skin and cloth a very large highlight (about 95) with a dark highlight color like 31/31/31. Of course that is a gray value, but you can use color at a similar level. I give leathers and shiny materials brighter highlight colors. The image was a spoof based on an earlier post (see link), where she was compared to Bwoonhilda from "Bugs Bunny" cartoons. She wanted to get out of her battle gear and give an encore performance for her adoring fans. Of course, she wanted it in keeping with the nekkid lady in a temple with a helmut and a big weapon theme. But, Bwoonhilda says she likes to leave a bit to the imagination. ;) Beth
