Has anyone in Europe received a tracking number yet for delivery of Poser 5? We were told that the Useless Shipping Company would get the shipment of Poser 5 back to Ireland by Friday and that shipments would start Friday (20th) or Monday (23rd). Well, it's end of business on Monday... has anyone heard anything? Can we conclude that the USC missed Ireland again? (Hey bozos, Ireland is that big green patch between the UK and the USA!)

still waiting. with all the reports of bugs and the non-delivery in Europe (Im in the UK and ordered 24/8/02) It looks like CL just needed to improve their cash flow and issued the prog before it was really ready. Also as with all US companies only domestic really get any consideration the rest of us are just income Alex

Hope the P5 models pick up some national costumes from all the places they've been on the way here.

This irish guy came today to Dresden, Germany and delivered my copy. :) Yep, Poser 5 crashed several times already, but the activation was real smooth. ;P
isaacnewton posted Mon, 23 September 2002 at 1:23 PM
So, at least the USC bosos left some copies behind in Germany, that's good. Maybe they should have left them all there because even the slow national postal service would have got the packages to us in our respective countries by now! It was a mistake to use the USC and a mistake to let them take the shipment back into their stupid hands. At the first possible opportunity CL should take the entire shipment away from them.... where ever they and it happens to be at the time, and pass it on to a reliable delivery service. CL should then sue the pants off the USC for failure to deliver! IMHO !

nice to hear that the activation is running smooth. And crashing every second render......who really wants to render....knowing that poser 5 is on the computer ,is the thing :-)))

waiting in Belgium too... Maybe CL is now patching like hell (seen threads mentioning tons of bugs, return of product considerations, people actually turning back to P4) and deliberatly holds shipping?
aleks posted Tue, 24 September 2002 at 4:52 AM
the guy from softline in germany, told me they send it on friday via ups. maybe ups brings them all back to ireland? ;]P

kbade posted Tue, 24 September 2002 at 8:38 PM
It may not be much of a consolation, but if you search this forum, you will see complaints about the US shipping also. That being said, while CL is having problems with P5, the shipping problems appear to lie with the shipping company, not CL.

No sign of it in Brussels. But then again: the weather changed, and it is raining now (almost unheard of in Belgium), which maybe the reason for non-deliveries.
aleks posted Wed, 25 September 2002 at 10:00 AM
p5 came in today after 5 days giving company to one lonely ups driver. so far so good, no glitches (except non-working registration, having chances with undo, etc), no crashes. but the driver that delivered it was an irishmen (he said it) and his name was greenwood (see #4). lol! :)

Belgium, early evening... It's here! It's installed. It's registered!. It doesn't crash! Smile, smile, smile!!!
