No I haven't... I've heard there are a few bugs with it so I have been waiting.

No, the bugs are in Vue 4.06!!! :-)

I have the 4.1...don't get those weird button-looking things, but the preview doesn't work either.

I had the same problem(4.06). But the preview worked when I changed Windows display setting from High color(16bits) to True color(32bits). Hatsumi

I'll have to try that! Thanks Hattie

Yep... that solved the problem... switching from 16-bit to 32k True Color is what solved the problem... Might want to add that to the Vue Troubleshooting database

I even did not imagine that somebody could use 16 bit colors:-( with Vue or any other 3D or paint software. Updating to Vue 4.1 is important too, because there are many things absolutely impossible to obtain in Vue 4.06 (bums don't import, transparency on Poser figures combined with volumetric light doesn't work, greyscale bitmaps in the terrain editor have funny results and and and). Well, I know there are many bugs in Vue4.06. But about my case, I don't have reported bugs. And we Japanese users have onother problem in Vue4.1, it depend on Japanese Windows OS. I'm investigating safety method of update. Hatsumi
