What exactly can "morph putty" do? I have checked out the web site and I'm still not sure. Does it eliminate the use of magnets for the face? Will it give you alot more freedom to create unique and mre realistic facial expressions? Thanks, Chris

Chris, Although I'm no expert, as far as I can tell morph putty does not eliminate facial magnets, it simply represents a graphical (and thus easier) method for manipulating face morphs. In the face room there is a graphical representation of the face whereon you can use a dot cursor to push and pull on the face (within the limits of the various morphs present--and the Don & Judy characters don't have nearly enough...CL forgot to include a few I understand...maybe in the updater) in order to shape it to your liking. A neat and interesting process actually...and much easier than using dials. I hope this helps. --lb

I just got Mimic from DAZ for $48 buckaroos and am using it on Judy in P5. After having played with the morph putty demo, and mimic/p5.... 1. Mimic/P5 appears to be able to do all that MP does and more, though its not as simple to set up. 2. MP seems to have more automated features on emotions, etc, but also seems to be less realistic. 3. Price for Mimic is so cheap right now that it makes it worth while to pencil things out before buying MP. I was looking heavily at MP back when Mimic was $200 or so. Now that I have mimic and P5, I'm not even considering MP. Maybe some will disagree and offer a better taste test comparison?

Eric & Marque, Hunh??!! Morph putty is a feature included in P5. Perhaps the site above developed it, but I was describing the tool included WITH the application. Your posts may confuse some readers. --lb

another program like this is crazy talk. It animates 2d pictures to make them talk. It generates the sound from typed words.
