This is a tutorial for getting the most out of your Poser renders with just Poser 4 and Photoshop to get results like this

Taura, You tutorial is awesome. I love the way you explained it. And the final result rocks. Your post makes me want to run and do an image. Thanks for doing it. I use a similar technique all the time and love it. It also works great on post rendered images. I was going to post this as aseperate post but mabey should just put this here for now. Stormi(Tara) painted this fabu do and gave me permission to use it to illustrate the idea. Beautiful site btw, Anton

The face Mike is wearing in that tute is from the Michael2Faces Pak 1 ,which you can also get in the downloads section in case you were wondering also the face in the downloads thumb is Jacki, can't remember if he is in pak 1 or 2 but he is there aswell. Anton, thats great idea too! I will have to try that one too. There are so many ways to enhance renders in Photoshop I am sure the list is endless!

Guys - just did a test run with the tutorial and also used Anton's hair tip (thanks Anton). I'm really pleased with the result. I need to work on the placement of the lights or the position of the head though, as it can cause some really serious 'black eyes' on the image. But I just loved how much more depth it gives. Thanks Taura! Link below is for the test render.

And here it is combined with the tutorial

Taura Noxx posted Fri, 27 September 2002 at 7:22 PM

There is a way for you to have more control over the shadows. Some people over at RDNA were discussing multi-pass rendering in one of the forums. I think that technique could be used in Poser. It would certainly give you more control over shadows. Anyway, there is something else for you to experiment with :))

ermm post 11 was supposed to be after 12. Don't know how I managed that one! LOL anyway here is the layer setup I used combining the two techniques.
