A few time comparisons between Poser Pro and Poser 5: Start up - Poser Pro - 43 sec : Poser 5 - 80 sec Loading P4Nude woman - Poser Pro - 12 sec: Poser 5 - 45 sec Render - teen ann figure at 640x640 Production Poser Pro - 3 min Poser 5 P4 Render - 5 min Poser 5 Firefly no Ray tracing - 7 min Poser 5 Firefly, everything on - 11 min Guess I need a new computer (currently PIII700 256MB WindowsXP) Here is the Poserpro render

And here is the full firefly render with raytracing on, shadows etc. Firefly obviously isn't optimised for P4 materials, lights etc. (which you wouldn't necessarily expect)

in poser 5 you have to set the trans fall off manually to 0.0 for hair and eyelashes. Its set to 0.6 by default,dont know why,but i hope they fix that with the patch

AHa, that'll take care of that problem, After a quick play, I am now going through the manual. At the moment, I am quite impressed with it and haven't come across any 'work stopping' bugs.

No bugs here too.Only some little things( like the one above)that would make work easier
