Hi, I'm quite new to modeling... Can anyone give me a hint where I can find a good tutorial to model a broken eggshell? Many thanks in advance, Phil

I take it you mean something along the lines like this?... One of the best 'broken egg' scenes I've seen. First thing is of course, made the basic egg shape out of a sphere, and then copy, reduce a slight bit, then booleen out the copy, so you have a hollow egg to work with. Now, depending on the application you're working with. You may have to create another object, and use that to seperate the broken part. Or, you may be able to select the verticies and then just 'cut' them apart.

The doctor says I have way too much blood in my caffeine system.

Heyas, Cinema1954 posted a short tutorial using alpha planes. Looks pretty easy to accomplish. Cheers, Phil
