Is it possible to have more than one Mimic animated pose at once?? Each time I put a voice pose to my character , every thing is fine , but when I plaace a key frame at the point in the timeline where I want the second part of the speech ( a separate pose) to come in Poser simply starts it from the begining again and therefore destroys all snyc with the previous pose and voice . any ideas for work-arounds , has anyone experienced the same thing? all help gratefully accepted :)

As far as I can tell, all it requires is a simple edit of the pose file.

Open the .pz2 in a text editor. Near the beginning of the file you'll see a section labeled "movieInfo".

Example:

{

version

      {

   number 3.0

  }

clearFigureKeys 134

movieInfo

       {

   numFrames 134

       framesPerSec 30

     soundFile C:Temp3Sabrinaconnery1.wav

                 0 0

        }

actor head:1

   {

   channels

            {

           targetGeom OpenLips

                 {

                   keys

                                {

                           k 0 0.000000

                                sl 1

                                lin

Delete the entire movieInfo section, brackets and all, and save the edited file to the Library folder.

Example:

{

version

    {

   number 3.0

  }

clearFigureKeys 134

actor head:1

    {

   channels

            {

           targetGeom OpenLips

                 {

                   keys

                                {

                           k 0 0.000000

                                sl 1

                                lin

                         sm

Now you can apply the pose file anywhere in the timeline. You'll need to splice the audio files together and import them into Poser manually.

I had this problem too, thanks for the advice. I was just assuming that I would have to make several animations and splice them together in Video Wave 5 or something like that.
