Thought I would quick ask a question here. I have been playing with 3d for the last 2-3 weeks and have kicked out some models in Nendo. I then decided I needed to render these bad boys out and animate them. I looked at raydream and every user I wrote said the animation capabilities stunk. Is the animation pretty good with Carrara? Anyway I hope so b/c I just bought it and it will be here end of the week/beginning of next week. Just wondering if I should have high hopes or not :) It came down to Carrara or Animation Master and Carrara seemed to integrate much nicer into my current modeler and seemed to have great render formats (quicktime + alpha's = nicer to edit and composite) Anyway thanks for your time.... brenthomer@hotmail.com

I like the animation that Carrara provides. I have been doing a good bit of that over the last month or so and it has been working fine. I am starting to use RDS less and less. The more I use Carrara the less I use RDS. I guess I am starting to get comfortable with Carraras GUI. Good luck and if you have any questions and/or problems after getting Carrara you know where we are. I would also love to see some of your models when you get a chance. Best Regards, Clint
