Here's a problem I've run into while creating a jacket for my Janelle character. When the item is brought in as a prop or as a figure, it sits perfectly. The second I tell it to conform, it shifts forward, and the sleeves drop down so they are approx half way through her wrists. Some more information on how the jacket was created: 1) it was modeled in Lightwave around an exported Janelle figure, exported as seperate .obj files the corespong to the "groups" needed in Poser (i.e. rForeArm, rShlrd, etc.)m then actual group data was assigned using UVMapper. 2) the seperate .obj files were then imported into Poser with all options in the import dialouge box turned off. These were then set into a proper parent/child relationship using the Heirarchy Editor. The files were then exported as one unit in .obj format making sure to have the group data included in the file. 3) The new .obj file was then re-imported into Poser and check for prooer fit, proper grouping data, etc. Once all that was found to be correct, I closed the file, started a new document, and brought in the P4 Catsuit to used as a base conformer. I zeroed all the figure data in joint editor, memorized the figure and added it to the libray as a conformer. 4) With all that done, I then closed poser, copied the conformer to the New figures directory, and opened it and edited it with Wordpad following the instructions in thip's tutorial(www.smercure.com/tutorials_poser/ConformingClothing.htm) in case anyone need to have alook at it). Once the .cr2 was edited and the proper pointers to the .obj file for the jacket were completed, I saved it and opened Poser. 5) Everything looked great when I created the new figure of the jacket. I brought in Janelle to test it out, and once I conformed it, I went all out of wack. I checked the raw conformer file to see if there was any problem with it, but it conformed properly. I repeated the above steps several times just to make sure I hadn't overlooked any thing, but it always ends up the same way, a little forward with dropped sleeves. Any one got any ideas, or suggestions? I'd certianly appreciate any advice you might have to offer. Thanks in advance, Genma aka Duane
