Okay I worked it out using rtamesis'original "TongueOut1.obj" MT as an example. The original file size was 1,443Kbs. 837KBs of that is UVs, Normals and Material statements, 248KBs is Facet data and 358Kbs is Vertex data. All we need for MTs is the 358KBs of vertex data. Even if you don't have a program that can remove the Facet data, UVmapper can be used to remove the UVs, Normals and materials. The 1,443KB file saved out of UVmapper this way was reduced to 606KBs. 1,443KBs to 358KBs of pure vertex takes less than a minute to do with Raydream Studio. -JH.
