Hello! I hope someone here can help; this is making me somewhat doolally. I've crossposted this to the Macintosh Compatibility forum as well. I've just installed Photoshop 7 on my G4. I have KPT 7, the installer for which includes carbonised versions of Kai's filters as well as classic ones. 'Well!' thinks me, 'Isn't that convenient! I can still use my favourite filters: just install the carbon version!' Well, as PS7 users already know, the plugin folder is different for PS7, and no matter in what I put the 'KPT Effects' folder the KPT 7 installer installs, I'm jut not seeing the filters when I launch Photoshop. As KPT 7 was released before PS7 (for things like Painter), there's no photoshop-specific information in the KPT readme file. I'm stumped. Can anyone give instructions detailed enough for a hamster-brain like myself to follow? I'll be forever grateful; I don't know what I'll do without FraxFlame. Just to clarify-- I have specified my old Photoshop 6's serial number in Photoshop 7's preferences. It hasn't helped so far. Thank you!
