Hi, I'm Andrea from Italy. I have a trouble with the rendering Poser 4 characters into Vue d'Esprit. As you can see in the pictures (one rendered in poser and the other one rendered in Vue), in Vue a "piece" of the texture that cover the chest is "cutted". I've tried all (I suppose) the possible different setting of the texture option in Vue, but nothing changed. Can someone help me to fix the problem? (if it is possible to fix, of course) Thank you very much Andrea

Hi Andrea and welcome here:-) First of all make sure you use the latest update of Vue d'Esprit. It is 4.1. If not, go to www.e-onsoftware.com for a free update. Second, import your figure as a Pz3 into Vue. Vue 4.1 imports every thing without problem. I suppose you use a PC? Mac users have some problems, but as I don't have a Mac, I could not help you here very much. Please let us know if you can get it right now. :-)Guitta guittalogo.GIF

I believe your going to have adjust the material of the metal armor in Vue.

In the Poser picture, the vest is 'cut', but the underlying character is darkened by shadows.

You'll have to experiment with lighting, and several of the armor's material channels highlights, effects (diffuse % and ambient %), and reflectivity to get a similar output.
