This project is turning out to be more than I had expected but I'm reasonably pleased with the progress so far. I'll be done by Tuesday next week for sure. -Kix![supercool.gif](http://market.renderosity.com/~carrara/emoticons/supercool.gif)

Looking good! Might want to use anything grooves on those walls...if you have it...would add some depth there. I like the way its coming along:) Brian

cool, i LOVE TUBES ! maybe you could find a wider angle for the camera ? and also increase the contrast between ligth/dark. Freid ps a last one ;) : maybe the wall are too straight. I like to use a wave modifier with very low values to slighty strecht walls or stuff. But Hey ! i love messy walls

Great image so far, my favorite part is the chunks of concrete chipped out of the floor and ceiling. Is the red mesh wall a texture with transparencies? memaci

The image is 100% Carrara and ALL the textures are procedural. I haven't gotten around to applying Anything Grooves yet (the truth is I have it but I've never used it yet! Now is the time to START!!!). The back mesh is made out of a plain primitive. I've put in the tile mixer in the smart pack in the transparency channel to get it to look like a grid. Very simple and cheap (in terms of rendering and modeling). The floor and ceiling are infinite plains with another incarnation of a chipped cement shader I cooked up for this project. I need to increase the "rocks" in the chipped out parts. The walls are one of the things on the list to tackle for a finished product. I'm going to put some stuff on the floor, add a whole bunch more pipes and change the red handle on the valve on the verticle pipe. More electrical conduit and some pipe hangers are also in order. I also need to put something in that room behind the grating. Don't know what that will be just yet but a pump is what I'm planning. The whole thing will be covered with words for the final product and most of this stuff won't even be seen but I think it will be a nice final product for the gallery here. I'll post when it's done and THANKS for the comments! -Kix

Nice image! I agree about more stuff on the floor. Dirty it up a bit! It's a dark, dingy basement, right? For behind the Red grating, how 'bout an electrical panel? With a BIG switch for the whole building/complex/moonbase/whatever. Maybe a big red warning light? Can't wait to see it in action.

Well I got down to a point where I'm tired of whacking on this image so I'm going to quit and call it good. I didn't get to ALL of the things I wanted to do but it's way more than was needed. -Kix![supercool.gif](http://market.renderosity.com/~carrara/emoticons/supercool.gif)

NICE WORK! I especially like the steam off the pipe, the lights in the cages on the walls, and the toolbox on the floor. Great touches. Congrats!

Great work, Kix. Looks excellent. It's always cool to see a work in progress and then the finished piece, too. You can see what goes into the project. Thanks for sharing this. - Dex
