I think I figured out trick-art's challenge, I am finding it might be easier with a tablet, the mouse does not move as easily. I don't want to give the idea away yet. Now I am in the market for a tablet, any ideas where to start? Thanks X

You might want to look at some of these past threads regarding Wacom Tablets. I did a search and created some links for another member a little while back.

Yes, art tablets are some of the best tools available, especially considering that Photoshop has FULL support for them (including features on some tablets (www.frys.com) that Wacom doesn't offer). Wacom is one of the better manufacturers of these things...however, I wish to warn people that if you get one and get used to using it...you're going to run into one serious issue. Most place don't want to dish out the money for these things. So, unless you feel like hauling the tablet and stylus with you everywhere you go, you might think about trying to use it with a pair of boxing gloves on, because that's what it's like going back to a mouse or trackball afterwards. Hence, why I usually use a mouse for everything and save my tablet for special projects.

I have a tablet on both my PCs. Mouse? What is that? LOL Haven't use one of those since I got my Wacom Graphire 3-4 years ago. BTW, the 5 x 4 tablet is not that heavy to haul around. Gotta love USB.

You guys are gonna crap. But persistence pays off, at least here. I sometimes try Ubid just to check out prices, I have a few things I won from there, quality stuff, I had it checked by a qualified electronics fixer. Anyway, I just got a 4 x 5 tablet for $30.00. I am not an extreme professional and well, it will work for me. I have been practicing in a square with my mouse and it is just fine. It is identical to the one at Wacom. Their 99.00 one. Anyway, if the cloud challenge is an open one, when I get the tablet, I will try my hand at my idea and will post it in either case. Not afraid of criticism. Oh finally got my DV collection from Adobe. They threw in two tutorials from Total Training, After Effects and Premiere. It is only the first section, but again it is a start.
