I also do alot of photography, and I was thinking about shooting some of the models for hi-res skin textures (which I would make availible as free stuff and/or the market) for Victoria and Judy. But the question becomes, how would one best go about this? I can guess from the texture files what I would need to take pictures of, and from the lovely cakeone tutorail for the head. but the body is a issue... would it be best to take alot of close range shots and tape them together in photoshop? has anyone who has done this got any advice? Also, is Daz going to make a p5 version of victoria?

Victoria works in P5 now.
I've heard it's best to take close ups of various skin areas and blend them into a base color.
Trying to fit a whole body shot onto the UV's is difficult.

JeffH is right, and the most important thing (besides good, sharp focus) is even lighting!

Ya one of the hardest things to fix is the shadow on the out side edges of the legs and arms if you didn't use a fill light, flash, etc. pretty hard to blend the front and back texture if there are dark edges on legs,arms.torso. I know I tried with some picts of my niece
