This looks terrible!!! I love it. One thing you may want to consider is that a dead guy doesn't have a whole lot of color to him - unless it's a kind of washed-out sickly yellowish grey. Try a web search for images of real mummies. Great tex. Keep it up.

i'd also lose the eyelashes and brows :) but a very very cool texture

yeah...the brows and lashes havnt been addressed yet, I have just been concentrating on the actual skin for now. I guess I should have edited that default yellow and brown light, he does look quite colourful. The skin is supposed to have a tanned leather look to it. The dried husks tend to get kinda dark. The next hassle will be trying to come up with ideas for how to textre a realistic wrapping on the body. Rawn

I'm currently working on a texture for the SFG bodysuit - I've only done parts as a 'wrapped' cloth - but you could do the entire suit with a transmap. That'd be the easy way IMHO Great skin :)

Well..this is how I got the wrapings so far, but they are simply put straight onto his body with bumps. I think it may work...waddya think? Thanx for the compliment :)

I'd go with the bump & tex right on the body. You've got a great start there. You'll have to skinny him down a bit I think.

Geeze the bump wraps look Great! I think the texture is not gross enough. I'd bump it more and have flesh falling off. Mike should go thin as bone too. Emily

Thanx for the comments everyone. ..and Emily, I did not see that as a negative comment, I was looking for honest feedback, which is what you supplied. I do have thoughts for the gross-em out crowd too, you should see what this guy looks like when I put cuts in his skin, and explose the flesh underneath...I think that should help there ;) Rawn

Am I the ONLY one who saw teh first image and thought "Beneath the Planet of the Apes"? I guess so... Pretty impressive :)
