An awesome image and pose! Well done. How long did this take to render with radiosity in POV ?

Looks very nice! :)

Wej: thanks ! I can't take credit for the pose, as it's one of the many available in the library. These poses are great, btw, much better than the ones in P4. The render time for the original image (at 768*768) was 90 mn (XP, 1.6Gz), so it's actually very short for us raytracers ;-)

But you didn't render it in Poser. No surprise there, the picture looks great. Poser: still the worst lighting controls in 3D.

Rendered in POV-RAY? What method did you use to get the meshes into POV? I started out using POV (being a coder it all seemed natural to me); but am now graduating (?) into other 3d apps.. GH

To GaryNH: Getting the meshes into Pov-Ray is quite straightforward, just use 3DWin (shareware) or PoserFX (freeware). You may want to optimise the texture definitions but that's all. I've been doing this since Poser 1 (see for instance http://www.oyonale.com/ldc/images/alfama.jpg that I made in 1997).

Hey, sorry about my earlier post, I must have been on the wrong thread. Yeah, this looks excellant. I haven't played with povray and moray and all that for quite some time. Glad to see its still moving along.
