OK, I've done it. I bought Victoria. Still debating on the texture map. I know she isn't complete without it, but it's a start. Now, if we can just see a Millennium Man for her, life would be sweet. Melanie

I bet with enough Morph Targets, Victoria could become the Millennium Man, lol -Trask

Someone already did that. It was hilarious. It's a few threads back. :) Melanie

Melanie-this is just my own opinion, but I am not crazy about the texture map for Victoria. I would suggest you make your own or adapt some P4 textures for her. Also--having worked with her for a good while early this morning--old poses, putting her into new poses--all with my own texture maps, I am crazy about her. She poses wonderfully and with different texture maps and just a bit of tweaking, she doesn't even resemble the Victoria we saw first. She may not float everyone's boat, but I'm very glad I bought her-in fact, I was just going to post something to that effect, so this saved another thread. Diane B

I take that back about the tex map though. Its worth buying for the hand textures unless you are good with that--I don't know if I could map the hands from a digital pic or not. Diane

Diane, thanks for your info. I just ordered the texture map. Had a little problem with the order; it timed out on me and I wasn't able to download it, but I've been in contact with Zygote and they're straightening it all out. It was the realistic eyes that sold me on the character. I'm looking forward to creating scenes with her. BTW, I'd like to give a hand to Dan Farr at Zygote for his help. The folks at Zygote are more than willing to help people. Real customer service is so rare with many companies these days, and it's so refreshing to see a place that shows so much respect for its customers. Melanie

Melanie - Good for you! I think you're going to really enjoy her. Like Diane said, the detail on the texture map for the hands alone was worth the price. I did find, though, that the face map was an entirely different color than the body, but that was easily fixed in Photoshop and really looks a lot better when it's adjusted. Enjoy her! Marybeth

Thanks, Marybeth, I'm getting excited by this new development in Poser people. I ordered the texture map this morning, but Zygote has had a problem with communication with the credit card section of their store and they're in the process of correcting this. Hopefully, I'll get it soon. Melanie

I'm still playing around with poses and animations for Vicky, getting a handle on how she poses before I start posting pictures of her. I'm very impressed with her so far, and totally agree with Diane and Marybeth about the hands. They are incredibly detailed texture maps. Paul

I still can't get the texture map. Zygote sent me an access code to download it, and the code doens't work. I'm in touch with Zygote, and hopefully before today is over, I'll have the map. I think I might have mentioned above that they had some problems with their credit card division yesterday. They had tons of phone calls and e-mails flooding in. When they sent me a user name and password to pick up the map, I get an Access Denied message. Anyone else had that problem? Zygote's people are so pleasant and willing to please their customers, I'm sure this will be straightened out quickly. Melanie
