I have a character with 7 "figures" in her. I should think that the rendering/posing/animating of her would be greatly improved if I were to make her one figure. Example: She has boots and gloves on. I would like to make it so that she doesn't have any hands; just the gloves, and that she doesn't have any feet, just the boots. I have made the hands and feet invisible, but it's a pain to pose since I can't click on the real figure that the clothes are attached to. Is there something I am not doing to make my life easier? Thanks.

heya; there's a relatively simple way to do this. make sure you put the main figure in the default pose, then export all the pertinent pieces as an obj file. (ie: check the gloves to export, but not the hands, etc.) make sure everything is named properly; it has to conform to the human figure naming standards. then point the original nude figure cr2 to the new obj, and it should work very well. (some tweaking might be required.) philc had a cool tutorial on combining figures with clothes, although it uses another modelling app and compose to combine them.

You need John Wind's Compose utility to remove the unwanted parts. Available in the Poser Free Stuff, use the search section and put "jwind" in the search field.
