Awesome shots Marshall! What a beautiful place to be hiking (if a little scary) I love the first two, and number 6 is particularly beautiful as well...thanks for sharing. I'm glad you and your family are all back in one piece!

These are excellent Marshall, you have captured the beauty of the fog so well yet these still have so much depth. Looks like a great place ; )

azy, I've got at least a hundred of the Great Smokey Mountains. It's my favorite place (so far). I have 2 others in my gallery from a couple of years back. They are: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=123125&Start=55&Artist=PhrankPower&ByArtist=Yes http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=54645&Start=109&Artist=PhrankPower&ByArtist=Yes It is an unbelievable place, hard to go wrong with a camera there. And starshuffler, you get over your fear of heights when it comes to getting a good picture. If any of you get the chance, do yourself a favor and go visit. Many web sites on the Internet. Thanks all, marshall

These are wonderful shots! I kept thinking "Chinese Painting," but Star beat me to it.

Waiting for the load Marshall, glad you kept the file size down, think my line is glowing red. LOL Wow! Some nice pictures here, a nice feeling of cold and fog. Like #6 a great feeling of depth, the rocks are great against the foggy hillside. :O)
