Looks like an evolved H&K, but I don't recognize the model. Nice looking piece though. Cal? From the diameter of the barrel in proportion to the grip it looks to be at least a .50 or someother building penitrating piece.

...always thought snipers preferred single shot, for the accuracy; like in "Quigley Down Under". Looks more like a point defense armament to me.

Yup - primary reason scopes were always top mounted. Stability of shot. Upper feed magazines were for rapid deployment of rounds down range and quick change over. But this is sill a cool looking toy.
