This is my final image. (I think) I've left the birds out. I don't think the image needs them. The Birds-eye view is enough 'bird-ness' (nice new word isn't it) I think. The only thing it misses is a name. It's supposed to be 'For you' in Latin, but I can't translate it to latin. Does anyone here know enough latin to translate it for me? (I've had latin for 2 years, but I wasn't very good at it and I quit more than 2 years ago so I forgot most of it.) So far the image has 3128 trees. It still renders very fast though only 52 minutes at a res of 960x1280.

It lost some crispness because of te JPG compression. You have to imagine the image a little less blurry.

Lovely image Rayraz. I think the word you're looking for is "para usted". Then again I may be wrong... Cheers again for the link prompt, TT.

It's me again, just checked it out my mind is playing tricks on me. "para usted" is the Spanish for "for you". The Latin would be "tuum" or "te" which is the familiar form. "vos" for formality. Any way that's it.

Thanx ttops.

I think the Latin could also be "Pro tuum" pro meaning for. Latin I and II were a long time ago.

I love it! This is the one I like best so far. I'll ad a little about the Spanish "for you" thing: "Para usted" is the "formal" version. If you wanna tell that to someone familiar to you, you should say "para t (in Spanish used by almost everyone) or "para vos" (in Spanish used in Argentina). Yes, we argentines use the old formal way as the most informal way. Confusing? LOL

Romanian is 'pentru tine', so latin shouldn't be too far off :)

In Welsh this would be 'i chwi' pronounced 'ee key' or 'to you' The Bryster Chris

Ooooohhhh! (read a squealing sound into that) I love the colors and the way all the trees turned out. I especially like how you included some trees hanging out over the water in the front. You didn't mention how many catapillers you included. :) Lin

Rayraz posted Sun, 20 October 2002 at 9:42 AM

I left the catapillers out in this version. It saves production time. Maybe I'll make a second verssion with 3 million catapillers :) Also: thanx to all for the translations. 'pentru tine' or 'i chwi' sounds cool too, but I think I'll stick to 'Tuum'.

"For You" = "Voor Jou" in Dutch :)
