Also I just try to calibrate my monitor, so my question:
The sky should be well exposed and the foreground should be
completely black...a least that's what I see here.
cheers

Interesting shot! :-) IMO this is a bit dark for me. (It's just me, trust me. Gloomy Sunday...) (*

Hmm....for me the sky still seems to be lacking in contrast/brightness. My monitor seems to be calibrated darker than most, ughhh the icky task of monitor calibrating.
I am, therefore I create.......

Um I'm viewing this on a monitor which is typically a tad bit too light. for me the sky is fine and the forground int sompoletely dark. If fact midway acroos the image at the bottom I can see a blue section of the sky and on the far right I can see the boards on the building. Bsteph

On my monitor the sky is a bit dull, and I can still see details in the foreground... Interesting subject matter...and idea for the theme! :-)>

Still working on the other picture.
I hope I'll accomplish something in time and
don't burn down the house with my lightset. ;-)
Here's a very basic WIP
cheers and thanks again :-)

Yeah! Nice one, perhaps a bit bigger in the frame, a lot of area to the left and right of the silhouettes. Maybe try portrait format. :O)
