Subject: Painting a Zipper

Okay, here is my next Question! I Want to paint a Zipper in Photoshop. How can i do this. The Zipper has to be curved and follows a Headshape.

try, fail, try again, fail again, try one more time, fail yet again, then once more for good measure, and succeed. You're the only one who really knows what you want, apply the knowledge you have. I only say this because that is one hella strange request for a tutorial...

Well A zipper is realy easy if you break it down in to it basic parts, the teeth and the zipper pull. If you have photoshop 7, just create a brush similar to this.

Then just use it to stroke along a path in a desired color. Then just use layer effect to add a slight embose. Using liquify to deform your zipper to your desired shape. The zipper pull was below was created very simply by basic shapes, and embose layer effects. A more detailed brush, textures and light effect could be added to improve the overall effect. He is a simple version I whipped up quickly.
