Hi All, If you slept through the post yesterday, the do-your-spot is still running... :-) We have about 600 personal dots on the map so far - so dot your spot now! I've also updated the engine so that you can move your spot (if its wrongly placed) by entering the same email as you did the first time. I am also working on a feature to zoom into seperate continents... so you can find other poser people in your area. A reminder - all those who dot-their-spot will receive a free Poser conforming clothing item at the end of October, and will be entered into a draw to win one of my market place character packs. http://www.3duniverse.co.za/map.asp cheers, d

I had to check out who the "Red" dot was out there in the middle of the Alantic ocean, LOL! And, I was quite surprised to see that S.Claus is also a Poser fan. I just hope he has the "will-power" to leave it alone for awhile, and get back to his duties..........Christmas will be here before you know it!LOL! Thanks for doing this, it really surprised me to find out how many of us Poser fans, live in California. (: genny

An excellent idea. I added my spot this morning and thank you for thinking of it! The zoom function would be excellent too.

I'd love to dot my spot, but Oh no! HTTP 403.6 - Forbidden: IP address rejected, your server doesn't like my Isp. It says "This error is caused when the server has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the site, and the IP address you are using is in this list." Bummer Kev

Not very well represented in the fly-over states, are we?

lordbyron posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 10:57 AM

Mosca, Remember, the "fly-over" states have significantly smaller populations than us non "fly-overs," (although much of my state, Texas, needs to be flown over. Sheesh! 11 hours (by car)of practically nothing between Austin and El Paso.) --lb

Perhaps but us flyovers feel very forgotten sometimes.:P Nice to see a good little cluster over colorado.

Valandar posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 1:09 PM

And if you look at that lonely red dot, surrounded by empty space and then surrounded by lotsa dots, in central Eastern USA, I'm STILL all by myself, with about a 200 mile radius to the next nearest poster... ;_;

Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Am I the only Poser user in South Dakota? Like mizombie, I have Internet Explorer for Mac OS, but it is not my preferred browser.

Mosca posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 1:26 PM

lb-- As good a reason as I'd need to just stay in Austin. Great town.

Mosca posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 1:30 PM

JV-- You maybe the only person w/ a computer in South Dakota.

jkm posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 3:52 PM

Speaking of Austin, it seems as if there might be enough of us here to start a Poser users group if people are interested.

Barryw posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 7:06 PM

Hey!! I had to reinput my town, didn't put an e-mail addy... At least I'm not the only one in this state!! Thanks for the Christmas flashies!!!

Like Barry W.'s red&green flashing dot at North Pole, Alaska. I have a dot, therefore I am.

LOL! looks like someone had fun with this. ^__^ btw, would someone in Australia help out Vince? ;p ~CD

PointLady posted Thu, 24 October 2002 at 4:30 AM

Ok, I am Aussie, so maybe my advice to Vince (who is lost) is to turn right at the Black Stump and head East. A definition: 'Black Stump' a mythical, non-existant part of Australia in the middle of the continent. Oft heard expression: 'He's the best drover this side of the black stump!' Cheers from DownUnder, Jan
