Here's news from the Beta Forum. "Folks, Progress is indeed being made. We're working very hard on the next release and are very active on this forum. There are at least 7 of us posting and far more scanning these threads. Just because we don't jump with each new post doesn't mean we're not aware of a problem. And a few minutes posting means a few minutes spent not coding. I would love to tell you that "we're going to fix A, B, and C in the next release", but that's next to impossible. Sometimes what seems like a huge bug has a really simple fix, and sometimes what looks easy can be extremely complex. Please rest assured that we are doing our absolute utmost to resolve as many issues as possible both as well and as fast as possible." Anthony Hernandez Curious Labs

Thank you for the update Anthony!
You know us Americans are alergic to waiting, don't you? We can't deal with waiting in line for more than 2 minutes without having a spaz attack! We're spoiled rotten to the core! lol
All of your work as well as everyone at C/L is very much appreciated! I cannot imagine the amount of complaints and bitching you deal with on a daily basis. It's got to be mind bogling. I for one can confirm that (so far) my experience with the latest P5 beta update has been great! I'm running a pentium 4, 80 gig hd, 512 ram, windows xp home eddition.
So as you all of you at C/L move forward with the evolution of a better, stronger Poser 5 application, please keep up the good work!!

Just curious,is all this work the reason we have not gotten the update CD that we were promised about 3 weeks ago?

Many thanks for being straightforward. "Sometimes what seems like a huge bug has a really simple fix, and sometimes what looks easy can be extremely complex." I've been a programmer much longer than I've been dabbling in graphics, and I can vouch for the gospel truth of that statement! A semicolon in the right place can fix what appears to be 1000 separate bugs, but a "little tweak" may lead to rewriting half the code.

I've had nightmares about semicolons... Those devils are the bane to a new coder. Shiver ;)
