Okay, Since I have used my BootZ name before on my BootZ in my ZPack (here in the MP ;) I have decided these need a new name. So I am going to run a contest. Suggest a new name for these BootZ. If I choose your suggestion then you win a free pair, of these bootz that is! Rules: Post your suggestions to this thread. Max of three suggestions per user please. Post before 9:00 pm CST Sunday Oct. 27, 2002 If two or more post the same name then the one who posted first wins. Void where prohibited and all that jazz. Thanks and have fun!

thouse look like Atomic-Boot's, n' btw, they are a goth style.

_dodger posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 1:39 PM

Caleb, those are an industrial style, not a goth style. It doesn't matter what their marketing says. Trust me.

caleb68 posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 1:50 PM

I'm not going by marketing im going by modern 'goths' in the area. I'm sure there's even a few that would argue that there biker boots ;)

caleb68 posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 1:51 PM

oh hehe ;) lol... btw, my dad said never trust anyone who says "trust me" lol ;)

_dodger posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 2:12 PM

Most modern goths wear industrial clothing. Goth clothing involves lots of velvet and is waay too expensive for most goths, ironically.

Letterworks posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 4:02 PM

Giana, Congradulatiosn! Now, please, get them on the market so the rest of us can spend some money! mike

caleb68 posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 7:18 PM

not all, you end up paying about the same for a velvet suit anymore that you do spending on a 'industrial' setup, sometimes more for the latter. I've seen full goth velvet setups for under 350, as where the other for about the same amount of items seems to range between 300-700 for a full setup. course im not talking the cheep plastic leather stuff eather ;)

_dodger posted Tue, 29 October 2002 at 12:47 AM

Well, we avoid the Hot Topic type rubbish. It falls apart in one night. Most of us prefer the nice, handmade stuff. And the guys don't even always have to worry about corsetry. So we go Industrial a lot, expecially since there's no 'pure' goth music anymore anyway. Apop, Mechanical Horizon, And One -- even Sisters claims to be Industrial though we all know better -- all the stuff they play at the clubs is pretty much Goth-Industrial or full-out Industrial, so it suits to look the part, though more in black and less gutterpunklike. Or you can just go super old-school goth. Leather pants, 20-eye grips, teased hair, shades, makeup and a ASF t-shirt. But generally anything laden with heaps of metal that goths wear falls into the Goth-Industrial style and is rivethead clothing. In black.

caleb68 posted Tue, 29 October 2002 at 1:58 AM

Hey dodger ;) know we've gotten a little off topic with this hehe ;) bounce threw the different clothing styles, personally I like the old-old school goth ;) like in the pic. You know of any good sources online for Goth/industrial clothing by chance?
