Hi folks,
Anything Grows 2 is now available! What's new in Agro 2?

  1. Uses significantly less memory during processing, less than half in most cases.
  2. Faster, now optimized for Motorola Altivec and Intel SSE!
  3. Many sided strands.
  4. More compact, easier to use UI.
  5. Face camera option for tip objects on the AGro modifier.
  6. Shader driven control of Width.
  7. Billboard primitive makes a great tip object to build virtual forests.
  8. The ability to override the surface normal with a custom start direction.

There is no cost to upgrade for existing Anything Grows customers.

Eric: Is this compatible with Carrara 2.1? How about Anything Grooves? Do you have a date estimate when Eovia is releasing the new SDK? So you can fix the minor issues? thanks. Great work by the way

velarde, Yes, Anything Grows is compatible with 2.1. Unfortunately, all I know on the SDK release is "soon after the patch", they haven't given me a release date. Best regards, Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild Freeware and commercial 3D extensions http://digitalcarversguild.com
