Help! I'm trying to import .obj files from Poser into Amorphium Pro and am getting nowhere. Since I'm new to Poser (Poser 5) I thought maybe I'm exporting incorrectly? I do know that Poser obj files are to appear very small once in Amorph, but I'm not getting any indication in Amorph's Properties window that anything has come in at all - no object name to click on in there to change the size. I've imported .3ds and .dxf into Amorph just fine, so I know what to look for.
When exporting a Poser figure I choose Wavefront OBJ, single frame, check the items I want included in the Hierarchy, tell it where to save to, and in the final box, select all options except 'As Morph Target'. Am I leaving something out at some point? Nothing appears anywhere in Amorphium's Properties window - zilch. I've also tried importing to Amorph .obj files that were freebies off the Net, i.e., not created and exported by me - same thing - nothing anywhere in Amorphium, micro-sized or otherwise. Any ideas on what's going on?

Hmmm??? Sounds like something wrong with the "import" function. I don't have Amorphium so I can't really help - um, speaking of "help," have you searched the Amorphium help files?

P.S. I suggest you get a copy of Maz's EXCELLENT utility called:
Scaler3
It's in Freestuff here at R'osity and allows you to upsize Poser exports and downsize Poser imports. I couldn't do without it.
Well, I could do without it, but I'd lose alot more hair trying to get things done. ;=]
Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"

Yes, I will continue to search through Amorph-related stuff - it's just that since I got Poser a week ago, I seem to spend a LOT of time here in this forum! This is my first post -- seemed worth double-checking if I was doing everything right on the Poser-export end. And maybe someone will happen along here who has had this same problem and found the answer... Thanks too for the tip on the Scaler - I'll check it out.

Hi Amorphieum has a problem with large ojb files. If you are trying to import a full poser model then the file size will be to big for it. also i have had the normals faceing the wromg way leaveg the model invisable no mater what you do in amp. so try exporting then import with flip normals then re export and see it that fixes your problem. hope this helps laters Vel
