The first trick-or-treater just came to our door - Halloween is such fun!

Happy Halloween gryfnn. All our trick-or-treaters have been and are long gone (23:40 now in UK). Hopefully they are all tucked up in bed. Although I daresay there are a few with sore tummies. It was well worth 2 large bags of fruit and sweets... at least I didn't get eggy windows this year!

Happy Halloween! Hi Phil, you make a rather impressive looking wizard there. Accidentally backed into a roman candle once, got a very similar effect, smoke cloud and all. :O) For those who haven't seen it yet, my Halloween Greeting pic is at the link. Now 'scuze me while I run out to hide in the field, I'm waiting for the Great Pumpkin to rise from the pumpkin patch, bearing all those toys for good little girls and boys - so I can mug em.timoteo1 posted Thu, 31 October 2002 at 8:20 PM
Too cool Phil!! Halloween is such a blast ... and you look like you're blasting off! I would have loved to have seen that in person. -Tim

Neat effect Phil! Yowser! Cantilevered? A climbing or construction harness would be comfortable enough to sit in, and the robes would cover it. That artificial fog is even colder? I hope you were wearing long woolies! Carolly

You do look like you are blasting off, did you eat lots of beans and tacos?

Cool Phil, I would guess, the pumpkin to your left is a post that is anchored to the ground and a support bar is attached to that ,of which you are siting on. How close am I. (smile) Well I just came from a party after one drink of the punch a lot of people were floating too.(LOL)

Phil, I'm guessing Mickey is right - does the support post run along inside your sleeve? They must have loved trying to figure it out. Well done - thanks for sharing! (Is that a TV or a computer monitor at the edge of the window at the left of the second photo?) So, if I include a big glass of orange juice, does left-over Halloween candy qualify as a good breakfast? :-)

Yep right on all counts. At one point I had kids all round me, flapping my cloak and they still could not see what was keeping me up. I try and do something each year, going to be hard to top this one next year, ..... but I'll try to come up with something good :)
The monitor? Yes that's my office.

Wow Phil, You make me envious.. No halloween here, though the shops try to build up a hype about it. But it's not a tradition, so... well.. Anyway it looks like it's a lot of fun.
HERE is what happens the day after Halloween ;o)

Oooh - don't they know never to peek under a wizard's robes? Well done is what the little dears could become! Good thing you've got a year to come up with something as impressive. Meanwhile we expect to get P5 fabric/clothing treats from that computer. (BTW - OJ is great with peanut butter cups; don't try it with Twislers or Smarties.)
