Poser 5 is here, if anyone hasn't noticed ;o)Seriously, despite their fine starter set of clothing, the new kids on the block, Judy and Don, are ready for "a score or two of tailors to adorn my body". And that we all know that the tailors are already working overtime, as we all want more and more and more clothing for our favorite app ;o)
To help the process along a bit, PoserStyle is happy to offers to the Poser community free Judy and Don QuickSuits. The QS's are free, and copyright-free, base OBJ meshes anyone can d/l and use as a quick-start for creating new Judy and Don clothing. Curious Labs has kindly accepted that we create and distribute the meshes, so if you want to skip the drudgery of basic mesh fitting and go right to the more exciting and creative work of making actual clothing items, just nip over to the above link and d/l.
As with the previous PoserStyle base OBJs, the conditions of use are simple and straightforward :
It is -free base meshes (OBJ format), which are offered at no charge, no strings attached, and free for all uses (except resale as-is, of course, wouldn't be fair, would it?). Whatever you create by modifying or adding to it becomes YOUR copyright, for commercial and non-commercial usage as you may wish.
In other words, you are totally free to give away, or sell, any product you make with the QS's, at any or all Poser sites you like. We at PoserStyle are simply as greedy as anyone else for more Poser stuff :o)
Have fun.

...and excuse my faulty english, it's not my first language, it's far past my bedtime in this part of the world - and I'm getting zzzzzzzlepy from all this vertex-pushing ;o)

These are cool! Are you going to do the same for Mike? The jacket is great, but a quicksuit to start modeling for him would really help a novice like me. Thanks lots!

Mike is available as a sales item (10$, I think) on www.renderotica.com. I donated the item to the DSI crew way back, so I cannot post it as freestuff, and it would be sort of unfair to make a new one and post that as freestuff. But if you check out the Amapi Forum here on R'osity (search the archive for "project" and "conforming"), you'll find step-by-step walkthroughs of how to build your own "quicksuit". Takes no previous modeling experience, promise ;o) Have fun.

Thanks thip, for the heads up! I just got it, and am waiting for the download info from them. btw, it was $15. I'm very interested in learning how to model, and this will give me a good start. I would do the one with Don, but I can't bring myself to work with him. I guess I'm a Mike kinda guy (grin).
