Moving backwards now... I am going back and finishing up the details of each of the 4 set in the fantasy pack.

This is the "Blackberry" armor. I need to finish up #1 and #2, then I can move on to the ladies!

Again, I have no constructive feedback - just a great big WOW that's cool ;) I REALLY like your colours!

Just finished up the gladiator armor (more or less).

The material setting still need to be tweaked, but the textures are all there.

Gorodin posted Mon, 04 November 2002 at 2:56 AM

Almost hard to believe it's the same geometry... :-)

I think awesome about sums it up!

Is he wearing guantlets? Or is that a texture trick?

CryptoPooka posted Mon, 04 November 2002 at 5:02 AM

Hmm. Constructive. Okay. HURRY UP! ;) The gloves and gauntlets are great. Got a question, though. Is there any chance of you guys doing a couple of sword sheathes and straps? Like the dual blades on the back, a drop-waist belt sheath, a single over the back? It's hard to find any that really work for Mike. There are a couple of strap sets for blades for Vicky, but they don't scale well at all.

Perhaps this will give a better idea of what the geometry is vs what the textures are.

These are astounding! Can't wait to see all of the final results. Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Looks really cool!

Ok, I was a little tough on you with the wood elf set, But dang! these look great!

ookami posted Mon, 04 November 2002 at 4:00 PM

When/where is it going to be available?

Gorodin posted Mon, 04 November 2002 at 4:02 PM

Here's the latest pic of the wood elf, in case anyone is wondering what spratman's talking about. He made a comment that it looked kind of dorky. Unfortunately, I more or less agreed with him at the time.

I think it looks much better now...

Gorodin posted Mon, 04 November 2002 at 4:11 PM

"Where" this will be available depends on where Lourdes decides to broker. I will broker the textures at the same place. I believe that location is TBD, but I am not really involved in that decision. "When" is when we're finished. We want to release the product and the textures at the same time. I don't know how much work Lourdes has to finish packaging everything, but I still need to 1) finish the Ranger set (tonight?), 2)create all the material pose files for the entire fantasy set, 3)create thumbnails for each pose file, 4)build Vicky versions for both the fantasy and the SF set and do all the pose files and packagin for those as well. I just hope Lourdes isn't waiting impatiently for me to finish up!

Well stop answering posts and get to work! (grin) Seriously... great work! This has definately moved to my "MUST HAVE" list!

Gorodin posted Mon, 04 November 2002 at 9:16 PM

Here is the 1st texture in the set, presented last of course :-P

The ranger armor is a rather travel-worn set of leathers over chainmail.
