I was finally getting around to trying the 'pull on the Z axis' thing to make a vue maple into a birch tree.. (hoping to make a birch forest soon for idea I have, now that I get play time after finishing latest model job!!).. well.. I pulled the z the wrong way.. and ended up with a pile of autumn leaves on the ground!! How neat is that!?!? :) Lyne

That's what the undo is for. But that I guess is a quick way to make a fall scene.

That's a nice trick I have used for my "fall" image (on the Vue 4 extra CD):-) Guitta

Where can I find the info on that trick? Sounds interesting.

Do a search here on this forum for "birch tree" and find the first one, with pictures ... it's a bit tricky to just select the Z axis in the main camera view, in vue, and pull just on that... the tree will turn into two trunks by pulling one way, or go flat on the ground like a pile of leaves the other way! I was so startled when it happened, but I was laughing in delight too! :D Lyne

You can do this with any Vue tree, but its a different approach as with the birch tree (which is not a Vue tree). I have to create a tutorial for it. Will do so within 24 hours:-) Guitta
