Will we ever be able to animate Poser characters within Bryce? -Gear

We can only hope :) It was one of the things Meta was planning to do before they made the decision to dump Bryce, Poser etc. However, it turned out to be very difficult to do (something about the code being too different between the two programmes). Perhaps the new owners (whoever they turn out to be) will try and integrate Poser and Bryce a little more tightly Paul

Actually you can do it now , it's just a huge pain in the ass.You have to set up a heirarchy with spheres placed at the joints so you don't see the breaks when they bend.Computer Arts Interactive gave away a Bryce file with the Poser boy set up for animation about a year ago.It worked OK but obviously looked crappy in close up.It's an awful lot of work for the results you get but if those are the only 3D programs you have it's a workable solution. I don't understand why they didn't make plugins for Bryce like they did for Raydream.
