I've noticed a number of ZIP files include a sometimes quite large THUMBS.DB file. This Windows system file is a normally hidden, cached copy of the thumbnails for the "Thumbnails" view. It adds nothing to the content of the ZIP and should not be included.
WinZIP will not include it if "Include system and hidden files" in the attributes section of the Add dialog is NOT checked.
