Subject: is there any voice changing software to make different character snds

I need to make many different characters with different voices is there any voice editing software that is worth it I tried just changing the pitch but thats not anygood A good voice changing software would work Anybody using such a thing.

Hi, I am not sure what you are looking for....Voice editing?, but there is a text to speech software program called "Second Speech" that has both male and female voices that can be "tweeked". Yes, they do sound a bit "electronic" but for $25.00 what can you expect? (: Genny

I know what he's talking about, used to have a program that did that but it's long gone now, no win2k support. You might try using a regular wave editor like cakewalk, don't know if it will do what you need but it's worth a shot. If it works let us know. Marque

There's also a FREE Text to Speech program called "Shit Talker". (pardon the language there, but that's what it's called.) It's a little buggy, but it really works pretty good. There's settings you can tweak, to get a wide variety of voices that you can save as .WAV files.
