Need some help on exporting clothing to make small changes without destroying all the groups. What type should it be exported as and what options should be checked or unchecked? I managed to get a pair of pants just the way I wanted them but getting them back into poser with the groups intact has been beyond me thus far.

Open the OBJ in UVMapper and you will be able to edit/rename your groups and materials easily.
