How do you get trans maps made for poser characters to work correctly in 3dsmax 3?

Lets see.. Never actually tried it, but I believe I know how to do it. Try this and let me know if it works: In the Maps section in the Material Editor on the material applied to the object you're making a transmap for, find the "opacity" or "transparency" map spot (not sure which is there.. I'm going from memory right now) and click on the "None" button, it'll pop up choices. Pick "bitmap" and go find the transmap file. Set the strength to 100, and it should work. You might have to play with a few other settings to get results exactly like you want them, but the main thing should work for you. Like I said, however, I've never tried it, so for all I know I could be dead wrong, but it doesn't hurt to give it a try. =) Rosh
