Subject: What is the point of these icons?

These are the most useless icons ever created. I like Carrara, but I've never understood why they included these icons. It seems to me that it wouldn't be that hard to start with a basic shape, perform the deformer and create an icon that actually gives the user some pertinent visual information. Eovia..... easy fix for the next upgrade. Patrick Tuten

Yeah I agree. ICONS aren't that good in Carrara. According to eovia the main things they will be working on are UI enhancements bug fixes, particle fixes, and looking into cloth dynamic type stuff, and bone enhancements. Check out the carrara chat session with eovia at the yahoo list.

Particle physics? Spring systems? This keeps up and Maya will be looking over her shoulder. As for the UI...those drawers are cute, but PhotoShop style floating and minimizable pallets work better for me.
