I just bought my first copy of Poser (version 5) and I've been playing with using photographs to create faces in the face room.

The face looks very good to me in the face room. However after I click on the "apply to figure" button and view the face in the pose room it looks horrible! The image has been darkened considerably and the qualities from the photo are lost.

Have any of you experienced this problem? Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
