No problems here. I've bought and downloaded several different small orders in the last week or so. Sorry.

I got a ton of stuff the other day on the platinum club. One thing I found out about the daz site is that if you continually hit the back button from the basket, it will eventually choke. If you go to the gallery and click to your page where you are buying again as if you were there for the first time, it works.

Hello,

I have not had any trouble. The only trouble I had was I ordered two of the same thing, and had to call DAZ to get it fixed up.

They are a great bunch of folks to do business with.

While I had the lady on the phone I asked about the new render tool that DAZ will be coming out with.

She told me they are planning to release one but no date set as yet, so, I learned nothing new in that department. :)

Warm Regards,

Did you sign in at the DAZ site?

I was having terrific problems yesterday with downloading from daz. Would get so far through and then just stop on me. finally managed to get the last one this morning on the 3rd try. The other 4 took mostly two tries. And I was rebooting and logging back in each time to get anywhere.

I've been asking them to enable resumable downloads for a while. It would make things a lot easier for people with bad dial up connections like me. I'm reluctant to buy things over a certain size because I know I'll have problems keeping a connection and then have to start all over again.

I wish that when you add items to your basket, that it would stay on the product page where you added it like it used to do. I don't like that page where it assumes you are ready to check out, and clicking back on my system usually generates a page that has expired. Usually when I want to browse some more, I have to click on a link on the left panel even if its to browse the same area I just left. Very annoying. Clicking back does cause problems and sometimes dumps everything in your basket. I, too, prefer to download a little at a time which is why I ordered a gift certificate for myself and use it to purchase a few items at a time from the Platinum Club. I shy from purchasing large items as well because I have such a slow connection.

I have a dial-up and a "sick gerbil" on the wheel, so I wait untill I have a bunch of stuff to get and have it burned on a disk. No more download problems. The platinum Club savings pays for the disk that way.

I've only had one problem, but not with downloading. I tried to order the Charger Tack, which says $1.99 in the Platinum Club, but when I put it in my basket, it gives me the 30% discount instead of the $1.99 club price. I've already e-mailed Reba about it, but I won't hear any response until probably after the holiday weekend, which would be Tuesday. I think I was overcharged on one other Platinum Cllub purchase in the Platinum Club too, but I don't know for sure which it was. Melanie

Melanie Not to worry. Just call them or e-mail them and their customer service will work it out with you. I have learned to request a confirmation in print or e-mail for those occasional mistakes everyone makes when filling orders. The bigger the order the more apt they are of making mistakes. I have encountered some there but always fixed immediately. With regards to the dial-up and ordering on-line issue I have a slow line feed and downloading even their weelky freebie gets worse and worse as the connections get busier and as the sites get more complex. I too have vied for the cd burn. It is worth it and having a clean cd archive of all the stuff I can track my stuff easier in the event of a harddrive tragedy. I accumulate all the stuff I want and get a big order written to make the burn and mail worthwhile.

I live in England does anyone know how long the discs take to arrive here

What might help to keep yourself organized is to right click and "open link in new window." That way, you can browse and choose in one window and have another window with your basket that you can just refresh as needed. Works better for me than to continually go back and forth, and it's actually faster for those of us on dial-up. Kep

found the problem was that after 100 hrs, the downloads close out and you have to call to have them reinsttated. i had bought so much stuff that i couldn't possibly download it in a week. i'll just have to buy in small doses i guess
