What I'd give for a change of scenery... These are sweet, Marshall. A refreshing treat for the eyes. :-) (*

The cypress pic is kewl! Looks like a Vue render on another planet. (grin) All the others a very good, too. Only thing bothering me, and again, an artistic preference is the big black tree trunk in the last one. Not sure why it bothers me...perhaps my stupid eye keeps focusing on it. I wish it were a stump...LOL.

1st and the 4th are the most effective as photographs, IMHO... The pattern of the cypress grove in the first and the silhouetted trunks with the great graphic dominance of the one at the left 1/3 are making these photos my favourites in this serial. Still, the nature that you have the chance to witness is breathtaking, and this is obvious in every pic..!

I must say I didn't expect so many comments on these. Chuck I understand about the tree. I could have posted a shot farther back that shows many more trees on the edge before the drop-off to the lake, but I liked this one with the contrast of the strong sun reflection on the water against the darker tree. And doruksal, I liked the way the trees laid out on the cypress swamp shot too. That one and #3 are my favorites. I will post a couple from this shoot in the gallery, but perhaps some different shots (I took so many - so hard to stop sometimes!). Thanks all.

Enjoyed your Sunday drive! These are wonderful- I like 1&3 personally, the first for obvious reasons & 3 because I like the way the road curves & draws your eye in & the colorful Fall trees :)
